Colors
There are many colors a horse can be. But some colors have catches. You only can have a truly black horse if you have a Fresian and you only can have a truly white horse if its albino. A horse that looks white, but is not albino is gray. Many gray horses grow lighter coats as they age. Before I list some colors let me tell you the definition of several colors. A bay horse is a horse with a brown or chesnut coat and a black mane and tail. A roan is a horse that has many colors all mixed into its coat. Two types of roan are blue roan and strawberry roan. Palimno is a golden color. Finally, buckskin is a palimno with a black stripe along the horses spine. Now for some colors! Here they are: gray, roan, bay, black, albino, chesnut, palimno, paint, and buckshin. The horse in the picture is a bay horse.
