Rearing, Bucking,and Spooking
Even the most bomb-proof horses can spook. Spooking is often caused by normal things, such as a plastic bag, or a car. Many horses also rear and buck. Rearing is when a horse goes up on it's hind legs. When your horse does this DO NOT LEAN BACK!!!! This is the worst thing you could do. The horse could fall backwards onto you. When this happens, lean forward. This will encourage the horse to go back down. Bucking is when a horse throws up its hind legs. When this happens lean backward.
